Hi, I’m Tina. I grew up in a village on the edge of Bodmin Moor and as a child I had the vast openness of the wild landscape to explore; the granite tors, the crystal clear streams and rivers, the gorse-filled moorland. 

The beauty of Cornwall never ceases to amaze and inspire.  Most of my beach treasures are collected around St Austell Bay and the Roseland, and the flowers used in my art are from my garden.  Absolute minimal carbon footprint!

Whether you live in Cornwall, or are a regular visitor, you will no doubt know the much-loved beech copse near Liftondown…. ‘we’re Nearly There.’  You will find a range of products connected to these trees … from small gifts to sea glass pictures.

New for 2023 is our dried seaweed art.  The seaweed is cleaned, arranged, dried and framed to bring you entirely one-of-a-kind wall decor.  In our shop you will find a selection of frames to give you an idea of what we make, but as each piece is completely unique it is not possible to list them in the shop … instead we take them to our weekly events.  However, please follow us on Instagram @sent.fromthesea to see our frames as they are completed – then simply contact us with a screenshot.  Or if you would like a frame made specifically for your wishes, please message or email us – hello@sentfromthesea.com.

We love showcasing the beauty of Mother Nature, and as such, being as environmentally conscious as possible is important to us.   Therefore, much of our packaging and paper carriers bags are purchased from a company here in Cornwall (any bubble wrap used is recycled and recyclable) …. and the vast majority of our picture frames are made in the UK ….. minimising transport miles and carbon production.

It can be so hard finding unique, good quality, affordable gifts on the high street.  I hope you will find here a great range of products for family, friends, colleagues, anyone who you may need to buy for.  There is a range of greetings cards, which are suitable for anyone and any occasion …  All the products are handmade by us…. with a drop of Cornish love.
